CHALLENGES

Given that our movie is set at a school, my group and I had little trouble deciding to film there when we were shooting. Nonetheless, we did encounter a few obstacles. Finding the ideal moment to shoot, for instance, has proven to be the most challenging. Our school has a large student body, making it challenging for us to try to both include and exclude the others. We also experienced issues with the sound. As I previously mentioned, there are many individuals present at school, which increases noise levels. I'm aware that we'll have to remove a lot of sound once we start editing. Overall, filming has been a really challenging process. The members of my group have successfully helped to eliminate these obstacles though. They have done a great job in working together and pitching  new and innovated ideas.

Blog Post Critiques

Today I critiqued Dellroy's and Nicole's Blog post on camera angles/shots. Dellroy and his partner accurately executed the camera angles and shots to the best of their abilities. Some of the angles give a comedic effect, and really give the audience a good laugh. Each shot accurately displays its title, despite there being no description for the shots, it was over all still a great assignment. Personally, I would give them A plus. The post was great and could be used for future reference as well, if they ever want to look back on it and review what they learned prior. One thing I would change about the blog post is the layout of it. I believe they have potential, and with a little more work they can achieve more with their camera skills. One particular Camera shot I believe they accurately demonstrated is over the shoulder. The shot displays at an angle over Nicole's shoulder, while precisely catching a view of what the foreground and background looks like. This shot by f...

First Day Filiming

Our fist day filming was a bit challenging to say the least. It actually took us a quite a while to film and it made us a little behind with our work. Even though we had a few obstacles, we pushed through and got 41 seconds done out of  the 1:51 that is required. These two clips consist of our production "Company"/name, and our Movie title. A lot of people have questioned us on the title of the movie, and it really has do with Monday being the day of the week that no one likes and Camila is considered the character that no one likes nor care for.  Our hallway scene probably was the scene that took us the longest to film but we thought this scene was imperative when capturing the emotion we wanted to evoke. We put this scene in to show the uniformity of the students in comparison to our character Camila who is seen as the outcast. This scene was kind of a filler; it was used to introduce Camila but also put in some of the credits.
